| Price, Oct 2026 | About $719–$799 | About $559–$589 |
Price per Wh tells you what each unit of storage costs:
- EcoFlow: $719 ÷ 1,024 Wh = about $0.70 per Wh
- Jackery: $559 ÷ 1,070 Wh = about $0.52 per Wh
Jackery is the better value on paper. EcoFlow earns its premium with 300 W more output, more than double the solar input and a stricter cycle rating (to 80% rather than 70%). Note that the two brands measure cycle life to different end points, so “4,000 cycles” does not mean the same thing on both.
EcoFlow DELTA 3 Max vs Jackery Explorer 2000 v2: which 2 kWh station is better?
At 2 kWh you can run a full-size fridge, a CPAP and lights through a long outage. Here the prices are close.
| Spec | EcoFlow DELTA 3 Max | Jackery Explorer 2000 v2 |
|---|---|---|
| Capacity | 2,048 Wh | 2,042 Wh |
| AC output (rated / surge) | 2,400 W / 4,800 W (3,400 W X-Boost) | 2,200 W / 4,400 W |
| Chemistry | LiFePO4 | LiFePO4 |
| Rated cycles | Not listed; EcoFlow cites about a 10-year lifespan | 4,000 to 70% capacity |
| AC charge time | 0–80% in 68 min (1,800 W input) | 1.75 h standard; 1.3 h emergency mode |
| Max solar input | 500 W | 400 W |
| Weight | About 45 lb | About 39.5 lb |
| Warranty | 3 years + 2 years with app registration | 3 years + 2 years if bought at jackery.com |
| Price, Oct 2026 | About $879 on sale (list $1,499) | About $899–$999 |
Per Wh, they are nearly tied: $879 ÷ 2,048 = about $0.43, and $899 ÷ 2,042 = about $0.44. The EcoFlow puts out 200 W more. The Jackery is about 5.5 lb lighter. If you want more solar input or add-on batteries at this size, EcoFlow’s DELTA 3 Max Plus (2,048 Wh, 3,000 W, expandable to 10 kWh) is the step up. Its spec table lists 1,000 W of solar input.
Which charges faster, EcoFlow or Jackery?
From the wall, both are fast. EcoFlow’s DELTA 3 Plus lists a full charge in 56 minutes. Jackery’s 1000 v2 matches about 1 hour, but only in its app-based emergency mode; standard charging takes 1.58 hours.
Solar is where they split. Here is the best-case recharge at each unit’s max solar input, using 0.75 for real-world losses:
- EcoFlow DELTA 3 Plus: 1,000 W × 0.75 = 750 W. Then 1,024 Wh ÷ 750 W = about 1.4 hours of full sun.
- Jackery Explorer 1000 v2: 400 W × 0.75 = 300 W. Then 1,070 Wh ÷ 300 W = about 3.6 hours of full sun.
With 4–6 peak sun hours a day, the Jackery can refill once on a good day. The EcoFlow can refill with time to spare, if you buy enough panels. See our portable solar panels guide for matching panels to each station.
What about bigger whole-home models?
Both brands sell 120/240V units that can back up home circuits through a transfer switch. They are not true matches in capacity, so treat this as a short overview.
| Spec | EcoFlow DELTA Pro 3 | Jackery Explorer 5000 Plus |
|---|---|---|
| Capacity | 4,096 Wh | 5,040 Wh |
| AC output | 4,000 W | 7,200 W |
| Voltage | 120V / 240V | 120V / 240V |
| Price, Oct 2026 | About $2,799 on sale (list $3,699) | List $3,499; listed as unavailable on jackery.com when we checked |
At this price, compare against a wired home battery too. A 13.5 kWh installed battery costs about $15,600 (EnergySage, July 2026). Our solar batteries guide and Tesla Powerwall cost guide cover that path.
Is EcoFlow or Jackery better for home backup?
For outages, run time matters more than brand. Usable energy is about 85% of rated capacity after inverter losses. A full-size fridge averaging 150 W shows the math:
- 1 kWh tier: 1,024 Wh × 0.85 = 870 Wh. Then 870 ÷ 150 W = about 5.8 hours.
- 2 kWh tier: 2,048 Wh × 0.85 = 1,741 Wh. Then 1,741 ÷ 150 W = about 11.6 hours.
For outages longer than a day, EcoFlow’s higher solar input lets you refill faster between storms. Plugging a station into your home’s wiring needs a proper transfer switch or interlock. Have a licensed electrician install it, follow the NEC and pull any local permit. Never backfeed through a wall outlet.
EcoFlow vs Jackery: which should you buy?

Frequently asked questions
Is EcoFlow better than Jackery?
On specs, EcoFlow leads on output and solar input. Jackery often leads on price and weight. Neither is better for everyone.
Do EcoFlow and Jackery use LiFePO4 batteries?
Yes. The current DELTA 3 and Explorer v2 models compared here both use LiFePO4 (LFP) cells.
Can I use Jackery solar panels with EcoFlow?
Often, yes, with the right adapter cable. Check that the panel voltage fits the station’s input range and that total watts don’t exceed its limit.
How long do these power stations last?
Both brands rate their LFP models for about 4,000 cycles. At one full cycle a week, that is over 70 years of cycles, so age and warranty terms matter more than cycle count for most owners.
